Easter egg nest pendant necklace.

Linda Jones' blog, www.wireworkersguild.com gives detailed projects on a regular basis. Linda made me one of her featured artists last month, so I'm feeling very inspired.  On her blog you will see how to make this Easter nest as a ring, but also as pendant.  Here is my effort.  Copper brown freshwater pearls with pale green crystals.

Copper wire and aventurine bracelet

Have been trying our copper wire for the first time.  So far, I've made a lot of scrap metal and this bracelet and necklace.  I think the chips in the bracelet are adventurine.  I'm open to offers on this one as its a first effort.

Newly painted canal ware for 2012

Just finished painting a load of pots, buckets and all sorts of other things for the coming cruising season on the canals.  Its traditional canal ware, but done in my own particular style.  Looking at it, you wouldn't think I consider this minimalist would you.

Turquoise and Silver Dragonfly

Turquoise and Silver Dragonfly. 

Size is 12x6cm but they can be made in any size and any colour.

Special Edition Spider

Her name is Precious.  Pink, purple and silver, she is quite large.  The body is a pearly purple plastic bead, the head is a purple crystal and as you can see the legs are made up of pink pearls, purple crystals and tiny bright pink seed beads with silver bugles.  Don't worry if you don't like her in these colours, I can make any combination of colours.

Golden Brown Spider Brooch

An autumnal spider brooch in golds and browns with a hint of silver frost.

Purple Spider Brooch

I just love this one and have to admit I've worn it a courple of times.  I've got 3 more of these rectangular beads left.  Don't forget to look at the website.

Blue/Black Spider Brooch

A Spider Brooch.  It measures 7 x 4cm and it sits on a silver tone brooch pin.  The body is a blue/black bead with black rainbow crystals in the legs.  Would look great on a coat or jacket.  If you fancy buying it, go to www.portias-crafts.co.uk. 

Emerald Dragonfly

A pretty little emerald and gold dragonfly for sale at www.portias-crafts.co.uk.  Really catches the light when hung in a window.  I slightly reduced the size of my dragonflies now to 6x6cm, but increased the number of crystals.  I think it looks better, don't you?  Have a look at the website and compare them.

Terrapot

Nothing to do with 'terror', not a bit scary. 

The handmade body simply resembles terracotta and this spider quite likes to hang out in a flower pot.
